Linda Pagnini and APECCS are one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the UK’s northern city of Manchester. This creative, naturally talented song writing duo, is comprised of Linda Pagnini & Roger Crombie.
Please note that we compose and perform music for films and advertising campaigns too.
Together they have created some incredible duo work, in what could be called a “Spiritual direct line” tapping into the vibrations of the Universe; bringing about extraordinary artistic works that encompass the powerhouse vocals of Linda.
This phenomenal pair belt out high-class tracks of mellifluous, honeyed ear-candy that leaves the listening audience wanting more. Musically, APECCS are influenced by the music which defined the pivotal decade of the 1950’s, up to current day classics. But even more importantly, Linda’s lyrics resonate with the intensity of her own life experiences on which all her songs are based and the emotion is palpable, reaching down for their inspiration into her very soul.
Linda Pagnini and APECCS create music with a contemporary twist on traditional roots. Their previous single Red Moon would have naturally melded into the soundtrack of the Netflix blockbuster “Stranger Things” and was immediately added to a number of playlists on major music platforms. Their new single “My Friend” would not sound out of place in a Martin Scorsese drama.
Linda & Roger are currently working with Stephen Boyce Buckley who brings an 80’s dance/pop vibe to some of the music which has been likened to early Eurythmics. They are also currently collaborating on new music with 5-time Oscar nominated George Fenton CBE and acclaimed Cellist Caroline Dale.
Linda’s powerful voice has a full-bodied huskiness with a haunting throatiness like an earthy, potent red wine. She writes from the heart and sings from her soul. She will at times, metaphorically rip the ground from under your feet in a bid to get higher and louder until she gets your spine tingling.
